About 250 people came out to protest plans to control drone aircraft from Hancock Field in Syracuse, NY. Kathy Kelly, of Voices for Creative Nonviolence, gave an impassioned speech. Carmen Trotta, of NYC Catholic Worker, was arrested and released shortly thereafter. Those gathered near the gates toward the end of the video, including  Daniel Berrigan and Jerry Berrigan (in wheelchair) insisted they would not leave until petitions and letters were delivered to the base, which the police then did.

This above video is a short highlight clip (about 3 minutes).
